Prakash Jarwal, MLA from Aam Aadmi Party’s Deoli assembly constituency, has been arrested by Delhi Police on Saturday evening. Deoli MLA Prakash Jarwal has been arrested from Saket, Delhi. The doctor has been accused of abetting a doctor to commit suicide. After this, after the matter went to court, a Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against him. This has led to his arrest. DCP South Atul Kumar Thakur said that two accused, including the MLA, have been arrested. Both are being interrogated.
Court issued non bailable warrant
Explain that in the case of abetting a doctor to suicide, the Saket court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Deoli MLA Prakash Jarwal and other accused from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). On the other hand, the MLA petitioned the court for anticipatory bail, which will be heard on Tuesday.
‘Raid was conducted on Friday
According to police officials, a team of about 15 policemen, including ACP Sudhanshu Dhama, Vijay Chandel and Neb Sarai’s SHO Naresh Solanki, raided the legislator’s residence in Tigri on Friday afternoon. Govindpuri, Rohini and other areas of Delhi were also raided. During this time, the assistants and others found at the MLA’s house were questioned.
The doctor committed suicide on 18 April
Dr. Rajendra Singh committed suicide on 18 April at Durga Vihar in Neb Sarai police station area. He also left a suicide note. In this, AAP MLA Prakash Jarwal was accused of harassment and the police registered a case against the MLA and his partner Kapil Nagar for abetting suicide.
