Due to the lockdown, the air services which have been closed all over the country for about two months will now resume from May 25. The information has been given by Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri by tweeting it himself. National and international flights are banned due to the lockdown. Recently, the government resumed the rail service and now domestic flights will also start from 25th May i.e. Monday.
Hardeep Puri said that domestic flights will start from Monday 25 May 2020. All airports are being informed. SOP is also being issued for passengers. Hardeep Puri has informed that from May 25, airlines will start in the country in a phased manner. Asked airports and airlines to be ready.
Earlier on the issue of starting domestic flights, Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri had tweeted that the decision of the resumption of domestic flights cannot be taken only by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, the Government of India or the Center alone. The spirit of cooperative federalism should also be ready to allow state governments from where it will take flight takeoff and landing.
Let us know that domestic flights have been banned since the lockdown issued from March 25 in the country. The fourth phase of the lockdown ends on May 31. Gradually most restrictions are being lifted by the government. Railways have decided to run 200 non-AC trains on Tuesday. These trains will run daily from June 1 as per the time table.
Many airlines have started booking
