Little Richard, the legendary artist with the impressive songs “Tutti Frutti”, “Long Tall Sally” in the 50s of the last century, has died at the age of 87.
In a May 9 announcement about the departure of the veteran artist, Rolling Stone magazine said the artist’s son, Danny Penniman, confirmed the sad news.
Little Richard’s full name is Richard Wayne Penniman, born on December 5, 1932. He is an American singer, songwriter, record producer and actor. He was considered to be the key to the transition period between R&B and rock ‘n’ roll in the 50s of the twentieth century. He was also one of the first to introduce funk music and rock ‘n’ roll melody, thereby giving birth to soul music.
