CRPF personnel will provide security to the members of the commission
The members of the commission will be former Bombay High Court Judge Rekha Baldota and former CBI Chief Karthikeyan. The great thing is that CRPF personnel will provide security to all the members of the Commission. In the three petitions filed in the Supreme Court, the encounter with the woman doctor for the gangrape and the four accused of her murder has been described as suspicious.
Earlier, during the hearing today, Chief Justice Chief Justice Sharad Arvind Bobde raised a number of questions to advocate Mukul Rohatgi, appearing for the Telangana government. During the hearing, the lawyer said that the accused snatched the police pistol and opened fire. After this, the police had to shoot in self-defense. On this, the Chief Justice asked if no policeman was injured. The lawyer said two policemen were injured. But not with bullet but with stones. Not every accused had a pistol.
Investigating, but not closing the eyes on the accused – Court
During the hearing, the Chief Justice also said that will you prosecute the policemen. If yes, there is nothing like placing our order. But if you consider them innocent and will not prosecute, then do not stop us from investigating. People have the right to know the truth. Meanwhile, the petitioner ML Sharma demanded compensation for the family of the slain accused. On this, the Chief Justice said that we are getting the matter investigated, but this does not mean that we have closed the eyes of the allegations against those people.
