AAP councilor Haji Tahir Hussain has been booked under the sections of murder and inciting riot of IB officer Ankit Sharma at Dayalpur police station in Delhi. A Delhi Police spokesman said on Thursday (February 27) that Tahir’s house at Shiv Vihar was also sealed by the police.

Ankit’s father Ravinder Sharma filed a complaint against Tahir at Dayalpur police station alleging that his son was murdered. Based on this, the police have taken action. Meanwhile, Aam Aadmi Party suspended Tahir from the party late at night. Special CP Law and Order SN Srivastava visited the riot-affected Mustafabad area on Thursday, where he gave this information during a conversation with the people. Ankit’s body was recovered from a drain flowing in front of Tahir’s house.

A Delhi Police spokesperson said that Tahir’s involvement in Ankit’s murder was revealed in the preliminary inquiry. On Thursday (February 27), polythene filled with bottles, petrol bombs, slingshot, stones, brick and acid was found at Tahir’s house. The police then sealed Tahir’s house. Till the time of writing the news, no one was arrested in this case.
