A young woman raised the slogan of Pakistan Zindabad during protests in Bengaluru in protest against the amended Citizenship Act (CAA), NRC and NPR, leading to an uproar. AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi was also present in the protest. Owaisi condemned the incident.
The girl has been identified as Amulya. She was seen climbing the stage and shouting slogans of Pakistan Zindabad. After this, the people on stage tried to snatch the mike from him. During this, the police also had to come in and Amulya was removed from the stage. Check videos of hooting here.
Addressing people from the stage after the incident, Owaisi said that he does not support the woman. He said that with this (Amulya) neither I have any relation nor my party. The organizers should not have called him here.
Owaisi said, ‘If I had known this, I would not have come here. India was alive for us and will remain alive. We do not support our enemy country Pakistan. Organizers at the event say the woman was not included in the speaker’s list. He has demanded the police to investigate the matter.
Conflicting statement of Owaisi’s party leader Waris Pathan
Earlier, Owaisi was surrounded by the controversial statement of his party leader Waris Pathan. AIMIM National Spokesperson Waris Pathan, while addressing a public meeting in Gulbarga, Karnataka, said that there are 15 crores but remember 100 crores will be overshadowed. When MP Waris Pathan made this statement, there was also present from Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
